Overview:

SMBs are moving to Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Software-asa-Service (SaaS) at the same time, though integration of the two occurs at a lower frequency. Integration of SOA and SaaS brings key benefits including faster development time, reduced end-user training and more cost-effective use of limited resources; benefits that are essential for SMBs, given SMB’s characteristic limited IT resources and IT budgets. To better understand the value proposition of integration, it’s important to first understand the value proposition of both SOA and SaaS.
