Nemertes Issue Brief: Operating VOIP Effectively

Nemertes Issue Brief: Operating VOIP Effectively

Overview:

Small and midsize companies are implementing IP telephony (IPT) more frequently these days. Generally, they are not overlooking the need for monitoring and management tools as they deploy IPT, but small companies should consider more carefully the use of specialty management tools. Midsize businesses have adopted such tools in greater percentages than small businesses up to now. However, since there is a direct correlation between the types of tools in use and the number of people required to monitor VOIP, small businesses should look at them again.
