Nemertes SMB Presentation: Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA): An SMB Perspective
Nemertes SMB Presentation: Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA): An SMB Perspective
Overview:
SMBs are moving forward with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) with great gusto. In fact, 50% of SMB participants in Nemertes Service Oriented Architectures and Applications benchmark have already implemented SOA and 50% of those who haven't, plan to. In fact, many organizations may already have SOA and don't know it since for many, SOA arrives via an acquisition of a new application. This presentation reviews SOA - both an architecture and an application development methodology -from the unique SMB perspective. Topics discussed include: SMB adoption plans, challenges, benefits, budgets, scope of implementations and overall strategic vendor choices.
