Smart is In! 

The pack of smart-phone vendors just got a little more crowded with Nokia's
(NYSE: NOK) release of its new touch screen phone and HP's (NYSE: HP) entry into
market with its iPac smart phone.

Nemertes' benchmark, Advanced Communications Services, reveals that
smart phone support by enterprises is on the rise with more than 23% now
supporting BlackBerry devices. HP and Nokia have just added some device options,
but with a touch screen and a choice of carriers.

Impacts:

Enterprises: If the iPhone had your users clamoring for touch screens, now
you can accommodate them without compromising your mobility planning.

Vendors: It is time to think about discounts.

Investors: The smart phone market is on the verge of commoditization. Expect
decreasing device-derived revenues from such vendors as Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL),
Nokia ( NYSE: NOK ), and LG (NYSE: LPL)
