Nemertes Issue Brief: Building the Nimble SMB
Nemertes Issue Brief: Building the Nimble SMB
Overview:
Although lacking the extensive human and financial resources available to their larger competitors, small and mid-size businesses grapple with most of the same IT pressures affecting those bigger companies. They experience the same increasing complexity in their IT infrastructures, the same pressure to provide secure, ubiquitous access to applications, and the same demand for improved performance along with increased reliability and availability for IT services. Nimble SMBs deploy some of the same solutions—services-oriented architectures (SOA), software as a service (SaaS), and open-source software—as larger enterprises in pursuit of these goals.
