Clients and media are permitted to cite Nemertes' research in external materials with the following constraints:

• The cited material is brief (a single statistic, chart, or figure). Publication of entire research documents requires a separate distribution agreement.
• All quotes are based on our research findings, which highlight trends and directions among the IT executives we've benchmarked.
• Quote is taken from recent research, not older than 12 months.
• Quote is not company or product specific.
• Material is clearly sourced to Nemertes Research.

To approve your quote request we require:

1. The quote you wish to use, if it already exists from a Nemertes’ analyst or published document.
2. If an original quote is required, please submit a request. Nemertes’ analysts write all of their own quotes. We will not sign off on a quote a client writes.
3. The original research source of the quote, attached
4. The materials in which the quote will appear, attached
5. Indicate the location of the quote in both documents
