Who We Are

Partners
	Johna Till Johnson is president and senior founding partner of Nemertes Research, where she sets research direction and works with strategic clients. She has decades of experience in IT structure, processes, and organizations and has worked closely with senior IT executives at leading organizations across a broad range of industries. A widely regarded expert, Ms. Johnson regularly speaks at numerous trade shows, conferences, and seminars, and writes an insightful weekly column in Network World.
	Robin Gareiss is Executive Vice President and Senior Founding Partner for Nemertes Research, where she oversees research projects and direction, conducts strategic seminars, develops cost models, and advises leading enterprises, vendors, and carriers. She currently serves as chief financial officer, as well.
	Andreas M. Antonopoulos is a Senior Vice President and Founding Partner with Nemertes Research, where he develops and manages research projects, conducts strategic seminars and advises key clients. Andreas is a computer scientist, a master of data communications and distributed systems, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a self-professed geek, with an engineering, programming and consulting background.

Analysts
	John Burke is a principal research analyst with Nemertes Research, where he focuses on software-oriented architectures and management. He develops and manages research projects, conducts strategic seminars, and advises clients. As an analyst, John draws on his experiences as a practitioner and director of IT to better understand the needs of IT executives and the challenges facing vendors trying to sell to them.
	Mike Jude is a research analyst with Nemertes Research, where he advises enterprises, carriers and vendors, conducts research and delivers strategic seminars. His area of expertise at Nemertes is wireless technologies and mobility strategies.
	Irwin Lazar is the principal analyst and program director for unified communications and collaboration at Nemertes Research, where he develops and manages research projects, develops cost models, conducts strategic seminars and advises clients. His background is in network operations, network engineering, voice-data convergence, and IP telephony. Mr. Lazar is responsible for benchmarking the adoption and use of emerging technologies in the enterprise in areas including VOIP, unified communications, Web 2.0 initiatives, social networking, and collaboration.
	Ted Ritter is a research analyst with Nemertes Research, where he conducts research, advises clients, and delivers strategic seminars. A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Mr. Ritter leads Nemertes’ research on information stewardship, which includes compliance, as well as the management, access, storage and back up of data.
	Katherine Trost is a research analyst with Nemertes Research, where she manages all research operations, conducts primary research and advises clients.

Client Services
	Client Services Director Chris Zimmerman has spent years talking with and writing about IT executives as a senior editor at The Net Economy, InternetWeek, Data Communications, and KioskMarketplace.
	Sara Christensen is Nemertes’ Manager of Client Services. In this role, Ms. Christensen assists clients with inquiries, briefings, and requests for research. She also contacts clients regularly to ensure strong communications, and is responsible for creating client reports that document all interactions. Ms. Christensen manages all facets of Nemertes’ internal events, and she coordinates Nemertes’ participation in external conferences and events.

Marketing
	Karen Wucher is currently Director of Marketing for Nemertes Research. Prior to joining Nemertes Karen ran analyst relations at Nortel Networks.

Sales
	Kathy Cardinale, Nemertes Senior Account Executive, has responsibility for business development within vendor and service provider organizations. Ms. Cardinale coordinates Nemertes Research services to align with organizations’ overall business and marketing strategies.
	John Dofter, Nemertes Senior Account Executive, has responsibility for business development within end-user IT organizations. For the past 10 years, Mr. Dofter has held sales and sales management positions with META Group and Gartner where he has both managed large client organizations and sold numerous new accounts. With over 25 years of experience selling to IT executives, Mr. Dofter brings an understanding of the IT research market and the needs of IT organizations.

Administration
	Tymon Mattosko is director of IT where he has day-to-day responsibility for managing, developing, and supporting Nemertes IT resources
	Jenny Navadomskis Jenny Navadomskis functions in a variety of roles supporting administrative, marketing, and client services functions
