Juniper Re-Optimizes the Branch

Juniper Networks (NASAQ:JNPR) announced updates to its WXC line of WAN
optimization and application acceleration products. Juniper's announcement
demonstrates strong enterprise demand for delivering reliable application
performance to growing branch workers. Juniper's WXC products span the needs of
small, medium and large branch offices, as well as data centers or large
offices.

Seventy-seven percent of IT executives participating in the Nemertes'
benchmark, Advanced Communications Services, say they either are
deploying or planning to deploy WAN optimization devices. The use of WAN
optimization allows organizations to fully leverage existing bandwidth services
without the need to constantly add more bandwidth to support new application
requirements. Nemertes found that organizations deploying WAN optimization have
flat or no growth in their WAN bandwidth needs.
