2010 PilotHouse Awards
More than 2,000 IT executives rated their providers and shared details on what they like most and least about them, as part of Nemertes' 2010 Communications & Computing Benchmark. The participants rated their providers on a 1-to-5 scale on value, technology, and customer service in 13 technology areas.
"In several emerging and highly competitive technology markets, these awards demonstrate which providers excel in technology leadership, solid customer service, and compelling value," says Robin Gareiss, Nemertes executive vice president and senior founding partner. "Businesses rely on these ratings as they make vendor-selection decisions because it gives them insight about the experiences of existing customers."
PilotHouse Awards recognized providers that received the highest overall average scores. Some technology segments have both Market Leaders and Market Challengers, a reference to their market presence based on factors such as shipments, revenue, and number of customers. Market Leaders typically are a smaller group of vendors that together comprise a larger overall market presence. Market Challengers typically are a large group of vendors that together comprise a smaller overall market presence.
For the first time, Nemertes is issuing an "Admiral Award," recognizing the company achieving the highest overall score across all categories.
